About

My name is Matt, I’m a drummer with 23 years experience playing most genres from Djent to Funk and I’ve worked on projects from Guitar Hero Theme songs, to splash screens for League of Legends. I’ve been a session drummer for local projects when a drum part was needed and I’ve helped write new ideas for local bands.

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of engineering and mixing work on the side so I’ll be able to mix the drums in for the genre or send you the raw stems. I use a hybrid technique to record drums by meshing a live drum mix with digital triggers to reinforce any parts of the kit that may be lacking in the mix. I also have the option to sequence all the drums and write everything in MIDI so I would be able to send the MIDI files over to you as well.

                    – Polyrhythm streams where you submit odd time signature songs and we break                                 them down and work through them together

                    – Discord hangouts and gaming with anyone that’s into it

 

                    – Music Engineering Days: We vote on an original song, I’ll record drums on it and we                         mix it together and share advice

 

                    – Giveaways

 

                    – I’ve created a very ambient/organic environment with a full light show to help                                   escape reality if even for a few minutes
